Giuseppe Savino was born on March 13, 1966 in Italy. After studies in Business Administration and Economics, he joined Italdesign in 1987 and took on different roles within IT & Technical Direction.

From 1994 to 1999 he led various Research and Innovation projects; from 1999 to 2001 he worked as Project Manager at Italdesign Barcelona.

In 2001 he was appointed Chief Information Officer of Italdesign Group. In addition to this role, in 2009 he also became Head of the HRO Direction.

After Italdesign was taken over by Volkswagen Group in 2010, he was responsible for the Corporate Integration program, coordinating the activities of the different company areas in order to fully integrate Italdesign into the Group. Currently his main task is leading the competence transformation for Italdesign.
